The usefulness of the useless

Poetry and music show with:
Claire Michael: sax, flute, vocals, samples, visuals
Leila Hamilton: vocals/piano
Leila Soldevila: double bass
Nono: dance
Patrick Chartol: Visuals, digital paintings

Times are hard for dreamers, the contemplative, the fragile. They are the useless.
Claire Michael offers us a beautiful journey to the land of poetry, questioning, and imagination.
Supported by singer, pianist, and actress Leila Hamilton, double bassist Leila Soldevila, and hip-hop dancer Nono, Claire delivers an original creation that combines poetry, music, dance, and visual arts recomposed from Patrick Chartol's moving paintings.
She wanders through the worlds of Jacques Prévert, Jim Morrison, and Eugène Ionesco, blending her own texts with those of Leila Hamilton. As usual, she moves freely here. She uses her saxophones and flute, blending her voice with that of Leila Hamilton, in registers that range from minimalist acoustic to sophisticated electro.

But there's no point in revealing any more... If this presentation has been helpful to you, then welcome to the world of the useless!
